Why We Need Voluntary Commitment in Today’s Workplace

Companies need to voluntarily allocate the right resources and training for diversity, inclusion, and social equality & justice. Companies, senior leadership, government officials, and leaders need to be socially responsible and committed to the process.

Making a Pledge Means:

Join the movement to make a difference in today’s workplace. We can make the workplace a healthier, wealthier, fairer, and more forward-thinking place for everyone.

Here are the steps to take to initiate and pledge:

  1. Confirm you are willing to meet the pledge commitment of Diversity, Inclusion, and social equality (DISEP)  â€‹

  2. Understand workplace discrimination laws (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

  3. Foster diversity, equal pay, and economic pay adjustment

  4. Avoid risk in interviewing without sacrificing due diligence

  5. Follow standardized interview processes and evaluation criteria

  6. Understand, review, and evaluate unconscious bias and how it can influence hiring decisions and the workplace environment

  7. ·Understand what “change” truly means
